It has a super cute artstyle and vibe, and great sound design. To top it all off, it has all my tastes wrapped up into a nice little package. It feels like there's something for almost everyone. Martha's easily my favorite, I love how completely unapologetic she is. So loud and proud, and even a little flirty. What a queen. Also extremely grateful that you included an outie alt for her, it feels like they're so rare in this space.
Which actually brings me to my next point. Is there a way to access the assets for the default skins that are built into the game? For example, I wanted to make a simple reskin for Marth that uses her default sprites for the earlier sizes, but switches to her "Outie" sprites for when she gets closer to exploding bigger. Normally I would try to figure it out myself, but I will be the first to admit I have no idea what I'm doing. Help would be greatly appreciated, but I totally get it if you can't (or even if you don't want to). Thanks either way!
If there's one ""criticism"" I have, it's that sometimes I feel like the game suffers from a readability issue. It feels like most of my deaths come from when I go to eat some yellow cake, only for it to have been an enemy bullet. I fully admit this is more of a skill issue on my part, and I don't hold it against the game.
Anyways, sorry for the paragraphs. I've written all this down and I'm sure there's still plenty that I've forgotten to praise. Fantastic little game, love it to bits. Big thanks to everyone involved for all their hard work! Always hungry for more updates!
Right now I've completed every single achievement, and I'm only 9 entries away from a full cakiary. All I'll say is that the game is incredibly fun, it manages a very nice balance between fetish and gameplay, though at further stages it definitely suffers due to how much of a bullet hell it becomes.
Biggest gripe is filling up the cakiary, powerups between stages in boss rush, or a sort of "check" system where if you have a powerup the game will spawn the boss you're missing (or one of, if you're missing more than one).
Gamemode problems would be that I see little reason to go and play in anything except standard, mixed mode or boss buffet. The other game modes are fun, but mostly at a surface level. Simple taste takes away all the fun cakes, watch your weight makes the main aspect of the game a detriment rather than something fun to look at, rainbow cake.... ok this one's fun if you're up for some heavy rng, speed eating feels a little too strong once you get to anything past 16 since you're not exactly getting stronger, and don't have nearly enough GP% generation to stay at the bigger sizes, and cheese it is just a fun distraction but nothing more althought I think that's intentional.
Other gripes would definitely be related to a few characters: Pump Punk is insanely fun, and is probably my fave design-wise, but locking movement while damaging an enemy is very much the worst trade off in the game, especially at bigger sizes where you're basically a sitting duck while the next pump of damage slooooowly trickles up.
Massive Martha doesn't do nearly enough damage to justify how abhorrently slow the time between her shots is at bigger sizes, not to mention that this also makes the Martha-mode of Shifting Sugar's special transformation basically useless, as even though you're invincible you still can't one shot any of the non-standard cakes. Not to mention that you can get at most 4 shots out before you change to Bella-mode.
Bouncy Bella's clench mechanic definitely comes into play very much at higher levels, but having to give up a GP charge to initiate the mode makes it weird, as you've likely already averted the danger by using the burp. On the rare occassions this isn't the case and you burp, and are still in danger, then 9/10 times the clench wasn't really going to help you either.
Anyways, I'm still going to go on to finish the cakiary, and I can't wait for the campaign mode. Excellent work overall and best of luck to the whole team!

For example I like the little bios of the bosses, and I like how they're not really evil/malicious, and are just "doing their part" in this war of sorts. I'm curious for the upcoming campain mode that I guess it would expand on the lore. Like who are the girls exactly and what are their backgrounds? why are the cakes invading in the first place, can peace be achieved eventually? so many questions that I'm probably overthinking over this little silly game, lol.
In any case I wish you luck on developing this game.
(And also........ are any of the girls & cakes single? and how good would they be in bed? /j/j/j)
Really enjoying the game, and finally I did all the awards, unlocking galleries and pallets, without using a single key. Still looking forward for new contents(you're trying your best I know).
By the way, I think there's a little error in the game during custom skin test. It suddenly happened during testing on 'shifting sugar'. I tried to specify the error what exactly is, but it only happened once for me yet.
But the more important thing is about 'sugars sprite sheet'. "There is no 'blueberry-non flavor' base sheet." Even template.
Which is the problem related to the hit-box.
I know you're trying hard to this masterpiece, but problems are problems. Not really a big deal, so all I do is just waiting during play.
Having completed the game to a self-acceptable level (unlocked the full gallery and all outfits through either achievements or keys, completed the Cakeiary, with all bosses defeated with every girl), I have to say...
This game, while starting out incredibly enjoyable and fun, eventually just completely dropped the ball when it came to the gameplay loop, rewards, mechanics. Sure, some of it can be chalked up to me not having the skills for such a game, but honestly, just TRYING to complete the Cakeiary had made me confront all the issues enough times to confirm that yes, this goes beyond skill issues.
To start with the good: everything, from the premise, the general design of the girls, the bosses, the toggleable voice, gas and gurgles, the alternative outfits and character models were fantastic, and I genuinely think that all the effort that went into the game is a testament of the creator's effort and creativity. I found just the inclusion of braps as welcome, considering how rarely they show up in weight gain/expansion/inflation games (with this game included, I can still count them on one hand). A good chunk of the achievements was fun to get, and the fact that you can also use the keys to unlock most of the pictures and outfits is very welcome as well. I really liked how many of the girls' special powers worked, especially when it came to the bosses. It took a bit of practice (more on that later), but it's always entertaining and rewarding to see the different forms of defeat we can dole out onto the cake women.
Unfortunately, this is where the positive notes run out. I'll try to keep things SOMEWHAT concise and split up into a neat list, rather than wall of irate ramblings.
1. The gameplay loop To cut it short: it's counter-intuitive, with SEVERAL frustrating features. Having the girls grow larger is a great gameplay feature... Until it isn't. The fact that you're effectively crippling your own mobility and maneuverability and making yourself a bigger target as the game increasingly becomes a bullet hell is... Unrewarding, to say the least. It's not even a "high risk, high reward" situation, since you're pretty much encouraged to eat the cake... Balls? Pellets? Let's call them chunks. It increases your firepower (to varying degrees of effectiveness, depending on the character), which becomes a complete necessity once the armored cakes begin to show up. You're not really given an option here, and above Stage 16, the game becomes so saturated with enemy bullets that the only way to dodge them is to either have full GP and burp/fart them away, remain at minimum size and thus be able to move out of the way, or retain maximum size from the previous stage, and either slip into the background or blow up. The fact that the girls' firepower increasingly becomes ineffective at higher Stages becomes particularly painful, and the fact that the only way to increase it is through crippling our mobility and making us a bigger target (and even then, some of the girls' firing method is just ineffective to begin with). There should really be either a temporary firerate and/or damage booster item (maybe a different cake?), or have the girls' firepower just naturally become faster/harder hitting by default as the game advances up the stages, because cycling between having no effective firepower and not being able to dodge due to our size and speed, while the enemies only get stronger and stronger is really demoralizing and frustrating.
1.a. Particular Pet Peeves: Shitcakes Never have I thought I would feel such intense animosity towards inanimate pieces of confectionery, but here we go:
FUCK THE STRAWBERRY CAKE SLICES!
They are the single greatest source of my frustrating in the entire goddam game. No matter the size I am at, they always have to be priority targets (unless there are Coconut cake slices on the Stage, more on THOSE later), due to how INCREDIBLY annoying they are to deal with. The fact that they fire at slight diagonal angle, and their shot travel slightly slower than other cakes makes a pain to deal with, especially towards the end of a stage when they slip down right above girl, and being their "Death Scroll", adding even MORE lateral movement to their shots. If you aren't at your smallest size, even ONE can become a nightmare to deal with, and more than one is typically a death sentence unless you have the GP to repel their shots. But even when they're staying at the top half of the screen, them just releasing their shots from there only ADDS to the frustrating bullet hell the game becomes. Coconut cake slices are the bastard understudies of Strawberry cake slices. Due to their durability (and the ineffectiveness of some of the girls' firepower, even at larger sizes), they become annoying minibosses to deal with. The fact that they can take out nearby cakes is welcome, but considering how LONG it can take to kill the damn things, that explosion will likely go to waste due to all the other cakes being destroyed around them before they finally blow up. And finally, Cheesecakes. I actually thought they were pizza pies the first time I saw them. Cheesecakes are only tolerable by virtue of not firing all that frequently, and that once enough of them is destroyed, you can easily dodge them. They take long time to get rid of, but considering they drop a chunk with each slice destroyed, and they can be more easily dodged than Coconut, but ESPECIALLY Strawberry cake slices, its actually rewarding to treat them as something of a "micro boss". They're brought down by the fact that they usually end up right next to a Coconut cake slice, and effectively become its shield, making it even more frustrating to get rid of the damn Coconut cake slices. What's even MORE annoying is that if when they spawn in during the start of a Stage, they can slip really low, and effectively fire off their omnidirectional bullets in a way that it comes at our character NEAR COMPLETELY FROM THE SIDE, DAMN NEAR HORIZONTALLY. Unless your still at a smaller size, or have the GP, you're basically fucked against these shots, because they basically attack you from an angle where you can't dodge, only back away in the vain hope that the angle of their path will narrowly miss you on the far end of the screen.
2. Character catastropheCatalogue Silly Sally is our baseline heroine. Her shots are fairly effective, even at low levels and upgrading her firepower grants her both slightly stronger bullets and wider spread of them. Her bubblegum special is fun, and the fact that you can use it to start "gumming up" entire cake slices if you defeat a boss with it is just *chef's kiss*. Perky Phoebe has, hands down, the most effective firepower among the girls. It only grows stronger as she grows larger, without losing too much firerate (which CANNOT be said about a certain OTHER character below). The fact that her cleavage can absorb enemy bullets is very useful... If muscle memory wouldn't drive me to dodge 80% of the time, since all the other girls (apart from Sugar with the apple power-up) have to in order to NOT DIE. The Cleavage shots are... Ineffective. I didn't notice any dramatic change, even when Phoebe started to look like she's carrying a lantern in her décolletage. Because of their ineffectiveness, they can slip out of sight and out of mind, leading to catastrophic momentary distractions when they do become active. Phoebe's milk special is kind of underwhelming, especially when compared to the other girls, but she makes up for it with variety (such as by erupting like a pair of dairy geysers if she gets to her maximum size while her special is active, or eats a milk-coated blueberry cake chunk). Perhaps, there could be something special done with eating a milk-coated Trés Leche cake, even if it just instantly brings her to her maximum size and causes her to squirt milk. Massive Martha is okay, but is HEAVILY brought down by the aforementioned counter-intuitive gameplay loop - at higher sizes, not only does she become a massive, slow target, but her firepower also becomes so infrequent that its practically useless (especially since it DOES NOT make up for this reduced rate of fire with more damage). The fact that she automatically begins to grow if she had eaten Earthquake cake and the player has double-filled her GP to the point where its all red interesting, and can be useful for getting her up to a size where her shots (infrequent as they are) can deal some serious damage and can make short work of a boss. All in all, she could be easily made better by increasing her fire rate at higher sizes and/or making her shots hit harder. Bouncy Bella, while a fun character to play, has the worst firepower out of all the girls (which is saying a lot considering we also have Pump Punk in the roster). Her blunderbuss-like spread is simply ineffective, even at higher sizes, and concentrating her fire, EVEN AT HIGHER SIZES, simply doesn't make it effective enough (not to mention that it slows her down, which is ESPECIALLY painful when she's at a larger size, and there's a bullet hell to dodge). Once the armored cakes come into play, she basically becomes useless, and every Stage becomes a survival round. Her Durian special is both useful and multi-functional, as her constantly filling GP effectively allows her to parry more shots (more on parrying later). One way to solve this would be to replace her birdshot-like spread with something like a crescent "wave" shaped shot, as if it was the sound waves created by her clapping asscheeks. The larger she gets, the larger and wider these waves become, with their center part hitting harder and harder, while at the same time, her rate of fire becomes slower due to the more infrequent (if more powerful) claps. This could also make her more distinct from Sally in the firepower department, as right now, she's effectively just a weaker version of Sally with a different special. Shifty Sugar is the mechanically interesting out of all the girls, but because she can use the powers of Phoebe, Martha and Bella, she especially helped to highlight the limitations of the other girls' firepower (while also confirming that Phoebe has the most effective shots). I kinda expected Sugar to gain weight like Sally in her "flavorless" form, and was mildly disappointed that she just doesn't grow at all unless one of her three fruit cake powers is active. I also figured she would gain the ability to copy Pump Punk's power once I unlocked her, but considering the general issues with Pump Punk's entire playstyle, the fact that she doesn't gain it is probably for the best. Sugar's special is also fun, but I think her "SUPERCAKE" form could stand to last a little longer. Pump Punk... Hooo boy. I understand why she was locked behind an achievement that you couldn't brute force with keys, but she made for a rather underwhelming reward for the effort required to get her. She's completely mechanically different from any of the other girls, and not in a good way. Her pump hitting a cake practically locks her in place (an awful idea in a game where staying mobile increasingly becomes both a requirement and a privilege), and the fact that she only grows in size after inhaling, while thematically fitting for her, throw me for a loop. Her special is also rather underwhelming, all things considered, and simply fast tracks her into becoming the next Hindenburg. The fact that the firerate of her harpoons ALSO slows as she gets larger is just a further slap to the face. Her ability to turn enemy bullets into her own projectiles is great... But it made me realize how much I WISHED the other girls could have this by default, using their GP blasts to not only parry enemy bullets, but also also turn them against the cakes. It's practically a requirement above Stage 24. And if the other girls have this ability as well, you could make Pump Punk's ability more refined by having the bullets HOME IN on the cakes that originally sent them, making it all the more satisfying to use this ability. As for the harpoon shot, perhaps, at higher sizes, it could become something like a line charge (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mine-clearing_line_charge), which becomes more and more powerful the larger she gets, making up for the slower firing speed and the fact that her using her pump to blow up cakes essentially cements her in place for the duration of the pumping. It would essentially turn her hose into one long Coconut cake slice, only with power amplified multiple times over at her penultimate size, potentially able to clear an entire stage in one blast. An alternative is to have her launch multiple hoses at once, blowing up several cakes at the same time (this could also be used for a special defeat for Caring Cheesecake, where not only her, but also, several of her cheeselings get inflated all at once).
3. Stages and Gamemodes The aforementioned bullet hell aspect, combined with the gameplay loop can really rub me the wrong way, but above Stage 24, the game basically say "Fuck you for playing!" - if I wanted that sort of sentiment from a game, I'd play Spec Ops: The Line, where it is at least thematically fitting, and not the result of ineffective characters facing up against increasingly difficult enemies. You either have to sacrifice sacrifice yourself to return to your small base size, or you have to stock up on GP like you're hoarding natural gas for the apocalypse. The way certain stages can fuck you over or trick you into dying, when you were trying to save up GP or a special for the boss (and the frequency at which I experienced it) had probably left me with trust issues by this point. I haven't considered myself a paranoid man, yet here we are. As for the various gamemodes, they're okay. Mixed palette is good if you wanna finish off the Cakeiary (for the most part - sometimes, it just refuses to give me the boss I want, and keeps cycling through the alternate forms of others). Simple palette is just that. It's not really rewarding, and since you STILL have to deal with Strawberry cake slices, there's no real reprieve in it, either. "Watch your Weight!" is fun, Boss Buffet would be better if you were given your special between the bossess (it would also help with the Cakeiary), Speed Eating only WORSENS the Strawberry cake slice Death Scrolls, so no, thank you! Rainbow cake is pure gambling. Cheese It woudl've been fun if the game's incongruencies haven't eroded a good chunk of my good will.
I honestly can't wait for the full version of the game, even if it retains these very same issues! I also must applaud you on the effort and creativity that went into this project. Now, I WOULD suggest another character for a more thighs-focused expansion/weight gain, but considering the game already has a roster of six distinct characters to play with, and you probably heard a million suggestions like mine before, I won't bother you with it.
It's worth mentioning that the game was designed to have Arcade difficulty in mind. The game becomes more brutal and punishing the more stages you climb, and you aren't exactly supposed to get stronger...
Still, you've given us a lot of insight, and hopefully once we finish Campaign mode, you'll have a lot more fun with that~!
Honestly if I had to make a criticism of this game, it's that Mixed Palette Mode's stage 3 challenge only cycles between 3 out of the game's 9 bosses. Which is weird in a game-mode that's supposed to be entirely randomized. Also it just makes getting all of the Cakiary sprites for the bosses unnecessarily tedious.
Hey just wondering how do i get inflated from a boss i dont know how and i really want to get that achievement and one more thing how would i pump corporal coconut idk if its once they are dead or before
Found an interesting soft lock with the boss. (Yes I did use cheats, but I found it curious.) On the one with the air hose if you manage to pop at the same time the boss "dies" (the one that absorbs damage and grows.) It will soft lock the game to where you can't choose to let them go or pop them. Found it pretty neat though and just restarted.
This right here? This is how you make a fetish game. The art is cute and hot at the same time, same with the sound effects. Voice acting is on point. But what really ties it all together is that the gameplay is actually good and addictive, which is what a lot of games in this similar vein fail to achieve.
Peak fetish game :) Also Just a suggestion but I'd like to see the bosses become either costumes or playable characters, maybe you can unlock them if you beat the bosses the "special way" ;)
This gave me the greatest idea ever, same idea kind of, but hear me out.
what if, by completing all the special ways to defeat a boss (shown in the cakery) then you could play as said boss. Downsides being you don't grow (or don't grow much), yet have a significantly bigger hitbox. Maybe special power up cakes that appear more often to
It's possible your save data may be corrupted, which is usually stored in your Local Appdata. We'll try to find a fix for this, but you may have to delete your save data, or move it somewhere else for now.
the lewd undertones aside, this game is actually engaging. it's challenging to the point that it's fun, but not to the point where it's frustrating. W game, keep up the good work!
Another great update. Every update coming from this team has been meaningful, which is impressive considering how fast they are. (I know it took a lot of time, but fast by game development standards). I like how you automatically parry when going up a size now, avoiding annoying situations where you're caught off guard by a hitbox size change. There aren't any more things in this game where I feel you take damage and it wasn't your fault. A good level of challenge while also being fair. A surprising amount of customization and tailoring towards player experiences and an expert blend of art and gameplay. Something few games, even by big studios, fail to achieve. An unfortunate side effect of this is that if you take out content that may not be your preference, you lock yourself out of certain gameplay features. But hard to really complain about that. Not really a "problem" to fix unless all the features were just reskins of others. Speaking of reskins, Shifting Sugar. At first I wasn't sure about her character gimmick, but she grew on me. It was a good warmup to get back into the game after a long break. She kind of tests your mastery of the different characters in the game. On the note of characters. Every character is very unique and has to approach the various challenges present in the game in a different way. Which is impressive for a smup. And the teasing of a campaign mode was great. This is way more content than I ever expected from a game like this. I think the team could've gotten away with a quarter of the effort and still blown people away. All this to say, if you have a spare buck, it's definitely worth supporting the devs in their endeavors. They've earned it for all the work and passion they've put in and for what they've produced as a result of it. Nothing else to really add from my last review. I don't think there's a problem I mentioned in it that wasn't addressed (even the nitpicky ones). At this point I just feel I'm spoiling myself with dessert. Which I suppose is apropos for the themes of this game. Look out for the full release.
Oh also forgot to mention a minor bug I encountered where Bella started off with the custom sprite on the home screen. No idea how to recreate it so it may just be a fringe save file thing. Still worth mentioning just in case though.
I'm really like this game, i noticed bellaconfetti.png in the pumppunk template and when i edit change the colors or rename the file to punkconfetti.png doesen't change in game.
I really enjoy this game, and been playing since it's early days. I think I found a found, I was playing as Massive Martha and was fighting Idol Ice Cream. I used my power-up on her, and had chosen to let her float, which once she floated off the top of the screen, I got a code error. I don't know if it's just her, or the float option with that power-up in general, as I have yet to try it, so I just wanted to let you know.

Ai is bad, you got banned from the server for this stunt, go away
I was also asking if plushies of the game and VRChat avatars can be made before I got banned from the server, even those of Idol Ice Cream.
because its a server full of artists, and its also in rule 4 that you dont post ai, thats why you got banned

Unfortunately, this is where the positive notes run out. I'll try to keep things SOMEWHAT concise and split up into a neat list, rather than wall of irate ramblings.
1. The gameplay loop
To cut it short: it's counter-intuitive, with SEVERAL frustrating features.
1.a. Particular Pet Peeves: Shitcakes
Never have I thought I would feel such intense animosity towards inanimate pieces of confectionery, but here we go:
2. Character
catastropheCatalogueSilly Sally is our baseline heroine.
3. Stages and Gamemodes
The aforementioned bullet hell aspect, combined with the gameplay loop can really rub me the wrong way, but above Stage 24, the game basically say "Fuck you for playing!" - if I wanted that sort of sentiment from a game, I'd play Spec Ops: The Line, where it is at least thematically fitting, and not the result of ineffective characters facing up against increasingly difficult enemies.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for these notes!
Thank you for enjoying our project~!
Cheats are fun!
Hey just wondering how do i get inflated from a boss i dont know how and i really want to get that achievement
and one more thing how would i pump corporal coconut idk if its once they are dead or before
Lose to a boss as pump punk while a certain someone is pumping you ;
Found an interesting soft lock with the boss. (Yes I did use cheats, but I found it curious.) On the one with the air hose if you manage to pop at the same time the boss "dies" (the one that absorbs damage and grows.) It will soft lock the game to where you can't choose to let them go or pop them. Found it pretty neat though and just restarted.

Goated update! Very happy about it.
It was very hard to get the game
I noticed its possible to inflate the bosses? how can I do this to get one of the portrets in the gallery?
Please make an android port 🙏
The game is peak, I've been playing it and working on my own custom skin nonstop since finding it.
I just have one question, though. How does one edit the description of their custom skins, if even possible?
Make a file called "credits.txt" and write what you want there!
This right here? This is how you make a fetish game. The art is cute and hot at the same time, same with the sound effects. Voice acting is on point. But what really ties it all together is that the gameplay is actually good and addictive, which is what a lot of games in this similar vein fail to achieve.
Massive Martha is my favorite character btw :)
Thank you so much!
no puedo jugar el juego por la pc :c
Peak fetish game :) Also Just a suggestion but I'd like to see the bosses become either costumes or playable characters, maybe you can unlock them if you beat the bosses the "special way" ;)
This gave me the greatest idea ever, same idea kind of, but hear me out.
what if, by completing all the special ways to defeat a boss (shown in the cakery) then you could play as said boss. Downsides being you don't grow (or don't grow much), yet have a significantly bigger hitbox. Maybe special power up cakes that appear more often to
i assume the rest of that scentence was "heal you?"
Im not gonna lie, i dont even know 💔
it seems the most balanced that way
Anybody got the full save file 100% completed im just wanting to enoy the art and unlocks but dont have a lot of time to grind
you can try editing your save data with a guide hopefully
thanks for the advice but I am not skilled enough to alter data like that but I probably should try anyway with a duplicate save
yeah best to make some dupes to test and do it on a virtual machine
It work, thanks
Version 1.208 won't let me get past the warning screen. It keeps showing the same error for me an I don't know why. This is the error I keep getting:

Can I get any help? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't work.
Its not undertones, its the main theme, even says it right there in the description, hehehe
what are you, silly
Thank you so much for your kindness~!
A little confused, the Gallery is permanently loading for some reason...rest of the game is really good though!
this was such a cute game
Can you make android APK?
Get winlator
How do I get the key?
you gotta get to like, stage 16 iirc it's gonna give you a key every 16th stage maybe idrr (i don't really remember)
Such a fantastic game, is there any chance that it will be released on Steam?
I'm really like this game, i noticed bellaconfetti.png in the pumppunk template and when i edit change the colors or rename the file to punkconfetti.png doesen't change in game.
Oops! We'll have that fixed in a future update. Thank you for pointing this out~!
This should be fixed in V1.208. Thank you for letting us know!
This update is incredible, def gonna make some custom character soon!
I'm loving this game but also JEEEEEESUS this soundtrack is insane
Would kill for an album or smth
can you make a mobile port please
